CHARTERS RATES & VOUCHER CONDITIONS
All our charters are voucher based. A voucher is valid for 12 months and can be extended by another 2 years, and is nonrefundable (as per the consumer act of South Africa)
A 50% deposit is required if a charter is booked 3 months in advance and 100% if less than 3 months.
The reason for vouchers is because an exact date can never be guaranteed due to the weather and fish on the day.
Once you book your date it can be cancelled and rebooked on line for an alternative date or venue.
Our prices will be guaranteed for the first 12 months after full payment is received, thereafter, subject to fuel and bait costs.
When booking please select the day before and a day thereafter, for the weather conditions.

VIC WARRINGTON — THE MAN WHO KNOWS THE ISLAND
Four decades chasing shoals along the West Coast means Vic doesn’t guess where the fish are — he knows. We launch from Yzerfontein or Hout Bay depending on where the action is hottest, so you’re always fishing where the fish are biting.
MEET YOUR SKIPPER
MEET YOUR SKIPPER
A person who knows the Cape Town & West Coast waters like the back of his hand. For over 45 years, he has been windsurfing, yachting, jet ski angling and big game fishing.
He holds numerous records in the Cape for big game species, like a 138.6 kg Big Eye tuna, a 106kg South Atlantic Bluefin tuna, a 96.5 kg yellowfin tuna and Marlin of about 255kg. (Was released) and managed to catch just about all bottom and pelagic fish found in our Cape waters.
He is a back-line specialist pulling up to 10 lines with 2 x 6m outriggers, 2 x 2m parallel short out-riggers, a 6m up-rigger and 4 deep-divers. Two 4m down-riggers on standby if the fish are deep.
Then for fun, he will put out a Marlin Kona in between all those back lines.
Once on a fish, he will start chumming and stripping. (baiting)
Numbers is not a factor on his boat. Catch and release, when the clients have enough to take home is the order of the day.
He also specialises in the psychology of motion sickness (sea sickness) and has imported a very high-tech monitor called a “Sea-Level” from New Zealand. Taking pills is of course a choice, but hardly successful as your mind will in most cases override the medication.
His high-tech equipment on board is of the best in the country with 3 fish-finders, AIS with a transponder and plenty of safety equipment.
The Big Game tackle is the best in SA, only using his own designed teasers and top of the range tuna and spinning rods with only Shimano and Tiagra 30,50 and 80 reels.
Safety is not compromised. He has a 100% safety record and will not launch if there is bad weather or high seas.
On his boat its all about Fun, Friends and Fishing.
He speaks English, Afrikaans and German.
